1、教育較發(fā)達、專業(yè)有特色
意大利是歐洲文藝復(fù)興發(fā)祥地，曾是歐洲文化中心，高等教育和科學(xué)研究都比較發(fā)達。意大利絕大多數(shù)高校都具有深厚文化底蘊，歷史悠久，師資力量雄厚、規(guī)模比較大。
建校較早的著名大學(xué)有：1222年創(chuàng)立的帕多瓦大學(xué)、1303年創(chuàng)立的羅馬大學(xué)、1104年創(chuàng)立的維琴察大學(xué)、1213年創(chuàng)立的阿雷佐大學(xué)、 1224年創(chuàng)立的勒斯大學(xué)和1405年創(chuàng)立的都靈大學(xué)。還有比薩師范學(xué)校、帕維亞大學(xué)、比薩大學(xué)、米蘭大學(xué)等，都是歐洲著名的高等學(xué)府。

據(jù)介紹，意大利對本國學(xué)生和國際學(xué)生的收費標準一致，本科生一年的注冊費300—1000歐元。同時，在意大利就讀的生活費也比其他歐洲國家低，一年總開銷最多在1萬歐元左右 (折合人民幣約10萬元)，平均8000歐元。

3、高考400分以上可申請赴意
我國學(xué)生申請意大利留學(xué)必須具有高中畢業(yè)證書，且畢業(yè)證書都要翻譯成意大利文，而且要得到意大利外交使館和領(lǐng)事館的確認和證明。普通高中生要求高考成績400分以上；藝術(shù)類考生要求：{高考成績+(藝術(shù)成績/藝術(shù)總分)*750}/2> 400分。
在語言要求方面，參加“馬可波羅”計劃和“圖蘭朵”計劃的學(xué)生不需要提供語言成績，每年的入學(xué)注冊時間在11至12月份。而直接申請意大利大學(xué)的其他學(xué)生，則需根據(jù)使館當年要求，或提供相關(guān)意大利語言成績，或參加使館口語測試。
從今年起，凡是參加進修課程的學(xué)生，在課程結(jié)束后，如果找到工作可將學(xué)習居留轉(zhuǎn)換為工作居留，無需等待勞工輸入爭取名額。學(xué)士畢業(yè)、碩士畢業(yè)以及專業(yè)培訓(xùn)畢業(yè)，均可快速地轉(zhuǎn)換居留方式。
